If you have periods, you know that these days are not always easy – cramps, pain and bloating from belly to lower back to hips and thighs. I don’t even mention the rollercoaster of emotions and low energy levels. A lot is going on for us during those days - physically, emotionally, energetically.

As much as period pain is common for over 80% of menstruating humans, it is by no mean normal. Yoga and Ayurveda help us regulate our menstrual cycle, harmonize imbalances and bring relief from pain and tension on those days we need it most.
​
In the “Yoga for Easier Period” workshop I will guide you through a yoga practice that I have been using consistently for over a year, month by month during my period. It has always brought me great relief from pain, bloating and tension, and allowed me to connect with my period on a deeper level, gain better understanding of the changes my body is going through and accept (if not cherish) these days as days of introspection and repose. Days of connecting with my femininity.
I’ve created this workshop for women and menstruating people to share their menstrual cycle experience and the insights it brings, and to explore yogic practices that can make these days easier and perhaps even enjoyable.
We will take time to go through a complete asana (postural) sequence aimed at easing your discomfort, whether it’s physical, mental or emotional. This sequence is calming, cooling, rejuvenating and available to everybody regardless physical ability and prior experience with yoga. Complete beginners are welcomed.

After this restoring physical practice, we will explore a pranayama (breathwork) technique that will help you soothe the nerves and get through difficult emotions that may arise as you bleed.
​
As part of this workshop, you will receive the practiced yoga sequence in printable format to take away with you, so you can come back to it during your period in the months to come.
